How to reprint a shipping label on eBay

7 min read

To reprint an eBay shipping label, find the order in Shipping Labels (Seller Hub) or Manage shipping labels (My eBay) and select Download label. It's free for 7 days after you bought the label. Skip any button that buys another label, because that's a second purchase.

If a page told you that you only get 24 hours, that looks like an older rule. The deadline section below has the details. First, the steps, which take about a minute.

How do you reprint a shipping label in Seller Hub or My eBay?

Both routes work the same way, so use whichever you're already signed in to.

  1. Open your label listIn Seller Hub, go to Shipping Labels. In My eBay, go to Manage shipping labels. Use the account that bought the label.
  2. Find the orderCheck the item and buyer before you click, so the right label ends up on the right box.
  3. Select Download label, or Download QR codeThese names come from eBay's help page and Community replies. A user badged Mentor said in a December 2025 thread that eBay changed Reprint to Download, and other replies still say Reprint. Any of the three is the safe one.
  4. Save the PDF now, then printKeep a copy of the file before you print. A seller in the December 2023 thread printed from a downloaded copy after printer trouble and said they'd make that a habit. Check the label size too: the print format can only be adjusted before you buy, so look at it on the buy screen next time. Our shipping supplies list covers label printers and label sheets.

If the label list doesn't show it, there are two other routes. Open Orders in My eBay or Seller Hub, select More actions on the order, and choose Print packing slip and more to print the label directly. Or check your inbox: for a label bought singly, the confirmation email has a PDF copy attached. A poster in one December 2023 thread found theirs there after missing the menu option.

How do you reprint a label in the eBay app?

Use the order's Manage shipping screen. The app steps, from eBay's help page:

  1. Open the orderTap Selling, then Orders, then the order.
  2. Open Manage shippingTap the arrow to the right of Leave Feedback, then tap Manage shipping.
  3. Tap the three dotsPick the action you want. You can also view or save QR codes from the app.

How long do you have to reprint an eBay label?

Seven days from the day you bought it, and the reprint is free. That's eBay's own rule. Older numbers still circulate, so here is who says what:

Reprint windows each source gives, as read on October 6, 2026
SourceWindowHow old it looks
eBay's label help page7 days from purchaseThe current official page
A Community thread where an eBay Community Advisor repliedUp to 7 days, but the reprint disappears early if the original label has been scannedThread started May 2023
A Community thread answered by a user badged MentorUp to 7 days after buying. The button is now Download.Thread started December 2025, the newest report here
A vendor blog post (Multiorders, which sells shipping software)24 hours; after that the label is lost. Its page data shows February 2020

Follow the first row. The 24-hour figure looks like the old rule: a poster in the May 2023 thread says eBay moved the window from 24 hours to 7 days that year, though another poster in that same thread still says 24 hours, and the Multiorders page is dated before 2023. Older threads, such as one from February 2021, describe a rule that ends at drop-off.

The other trap is counting. eBay doesn't say which hour or time zone ends the 7 days. Our rule of thumb: count 7 days from the purchase date and plan to reprint by day 6. A label bought on a Monday should be reprinted by the following Sunday.

How do you reprint a QR code?

The same way as a label: select Download QR code in Shipping Labels or Manage shipping labels. Each QR code label you buy also arrives as an email with the code in it. A seller in a June 2025 Community thread had erased the code from their phone before shipping and got the same answer. The one limit: once a QR code has been scanned at a drop-off point to print the label, the label counts as used and can't be canceled.

What is the difference between reprinting and printing another label?

Reprinting gets you the same label back. Printing another label is a second purchase: each additional label has its own tracking number and is charged separately, and an order can hold up to 5 tracking numbers. When a screen offers several buttons, this is how to tell them apart:

Which eBay label buttons are safe

ReprintThe older name for the same job. A Mentor says eBay changed it to Download, and some replies still use it.Safe

What if the reprint option is gone?

Which row below is yours depends on whether the label is unused and how it was printed. The middle column is eBay's page. The last column is our advice.

What to do when the reprint option is missing
Where your label isWhat eBay's page saysWhat to do
Past 7 days, still unusedA single label's PDF is attached to the confirmation email. An unused USPS, FedEx or UPS label can be canceled within 28 days, and the carrier can take up to 21 days to approve or reject the refund. An approved refund goes back to wherever the money came from.Check the email first, because eBay doesn't tie the PDF to the 7 days. No email, cancel the label and buy a new one, and you've paid for two until the refund lands.
Scanned by the carrierNothing on reprinting a scanned label. Canceling is for unused labels.Check the confirmation email for the PDF first, since eBay doesn't tie it to a scan. Not there, contact eBay. Community reports conflict on whether a reprint link survives a scan and we haven't tested it, so don't pay to find out.
A QR code that was already scannedThe label is used and can't be canceled. The page doesn't cover reprinting it. Contact eBay.
An eBay standard envelope labelStandard envelope labels can't be canceled once printed.Since it can't be canceled, a reprint or the emailed PDF is how you get it back. Our standard envelope guide covers how those labels work.

If you already bought a second label while the first was unused, put one on the box and cancel the other inside the 28 days. If you ship on the replacement, add its tracking number to the order as an additional tracking number, which is eBay's tip for canceled labels.

Don't let any of this sit. Printing a label doesn't stop your handling-time clock, the days you have to ship after a buyer pays. eBay's Seller Center handling time page counts those days from payment until the carrier scans the package, and our handling time guide has the details. Sort the label out the same day.

Is there a way to reprint a shipping label?
Yes. Open the order in Shipping Labels (Seller Hub) or Manage shipping labels (My eBay) and choose Download label. It costs nothing for 7 days after you bought the label.
How do I get back to my shipping label on eBay?
Find the order in your label list, or tap Manage shipping on it in the app. If the list comes up empty, check your email: a single label's confirmation has the PDF attached.
How do I reprint the label?
Download it, then print the file. Some sellers still call the button Reprint. Skip Print another label for this order, which buys a second one.
How do I see past shipping labels on eBay?
Use the same label list in Seller Hub or My eBay, or Manage shipping in the app. eBay doesn't say how far back it goes, so for an old label check your email too.

Today: open Shipping Labels, find any label you've bought but haven't shipped, and download a PDF copy while the free reprint still works. Then bookmark the page for next time.
